Amy Park, who is in love with the history of architecture and building materials, works exclusively in watercolor and pushes the medium beyond it’s usual constraints through her use of large scale and hard-edged, geometric compositions. Park holds an MFA from UW-Madison and has had numerous exhibitions including Project Row House (Houston, TX), and College of DuPage (Glen Ellyn, IL), and will be included in a forthcoming volume celebrating a decade of exhibitions at the Suburban (Oak Park, IL). She was a recipient of the Marie Walsh Sharpe Space Program Residency in 2007-08.
