Emily Kiacz is an artist whose painting practice is based in repetition. She uses color and gesture as a means to dissolve and illuminate space. Form is explored by warping exterior shapes and skewed to guide interior compositions toward endless possibility. Her work is informed by nature, which is quoted using panels shaped like clovers and daisies. This subject informs her solo exhibition, Braided Horizon, currently on view at Morgan Lehman in New York City.
